Establishing Infiniband connection on FreeNAS and Win 8.1

I am planning to establish an Infiniband connection at home.
i want to connect my system (Win 8.1 and Voltaire 410Ex) to my NAS (FreeNAS and Voltaire 410Ex)
OFED has been installed on the Client succesfully and everything is working.. but i dont know how to configure that on FreeNAS

OFED 4.1 always says; Linkstate: Polling.. Physical State: down

So what to do?

FreeNAS doesn't currently support IB cards. Sorry.

No firsthand knowledge, but have you tried FreeNAS 10?

Infiniband is supposed to be rolled into 10.1-M3 as per https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/2014

So that'll take a while.
