Emulex LPE12002 Support in 9.3

Was wondering if anyone has successfully gotten the LPE12002 Emulex card working in Freenas? I've tried to follow the emulex installation document for freebsd 9.3 and there's something not right, I don't see the device when running ifconfig. Any tips would be appreciated.
