Do I loose the volume if I reinstall Freenas?

Hi,

I want to reinstall Freenas, as I have a few Jails I am not using and its just a bit messy and giving errors when trying to remove them.

If I wipe the USB stick I have Freenas installed on, The data on the disk can still be imported onto the new installment?

i.e. I wont loose anything?

You won't lose anything but that includes your jails and anything else you have created on your pool.

Data on your pool(s) is separate from the OS. This is by design so you don't lose anything on the pool
