Hi Guys,
I do feel this is a stupid question, but I need to ask it.
Long story short I've been looking at disk performance and I've digressed. So I noticed what appears to be high disk latency on reporting, and as I write data it doesn't feel like it. After some digging I wanted to check disk latency from cli, I found ‘ipstat -o’ and looking at the msps.
Now the question, if these are the same, there is a large discrepancy and it appears to be reporting ticks show 500, which is 5ms via msps. Is the reporting showing 1ms as 100?
I’ve attached two images, one showing reporting chart for da1 and the iostat show msps.
