Disappearing Disks on C2750D4I

I'm building a new FreeNAS box today.

I've got an ASRock C2750D4I mobo, a little 64GB Transcend SSD for the OS, and 6x WD Red 3TB disks for storage.

When I go into EFI, I see all 7 disks listed.
When FreeNAS first boots, I see all 6 storage disks listed.
After a few minutes, 1-3 of them disappear and I get "Periph destroyed" messages on the console.

Any known issues like this?

Are the disappearing disks attached to one of the Marvell controllers? Then perhaps your problems are related to those reported here:

The Marvell controllers are not really supported ask that well and shouldn't be used.
