I have downloaded the most current version of FreeNas. I am everything setup and working correctly except the user authentication. I am using windows server 2008R2 for my DC but schema is set for 2008. I have set the option in the global settings to Active Directory. In the services tab and then choosing directory services options I configured it properly, however, the service refuses to start. I have followed all videos that were posted but this is the only issue I am having.
