Hi,

I received the following log messages from my FreeNAS. I think they are related to a scheduled scrub job. Looking in the logs these messages came up a couple of minutes after the scrub started and did not show up again. I ran a SMART test on the disk and nothing showed up.

My question is;
  • What does this message mean?
  • Is it a cause for concern?

Thanks,

This happens from time to time. If you only see it once, it's nothing to worry about (I've seen it a few times on my own system), but if you see it more often during load then something isn't working right.

Do the usual checks, such as run as SMART test, replace the cable, etc.
