Cloud sync best practice?

Have FreeNAS up and running smoothly and now need to setup cloud sync to B2. I've dug around to try and find some best practices... to no avail. Do most folks just make a bucket for the whole pool or backup by dataset? Also, if backing up iocage, does it grab the mounted datasets? Thanks in advance.

I have a very similar question, I'm doing a PUSH Cloud Sync Tasks every 24h to Google Drive, fully encrypted of the whole pool. However, I have a big flaw with this.

Let's assume someone erase important files just before the sync, we are going to loose them. Is there a way to do daily incremental back-ups and keep them for like 7 or 30 days? Could snapshots be directly sync to Google Drive or I need to generate them?

Any best practice compilation, I'm interested.
