CKSUM errors on all drives?

Hello all,

I have exhausted my research on why I would be showing CKSUM errors on ALL my drives in a pool.
All of these drives are plugged into the onboard SATA ports. From what I have read, that is preferable to any cards.

Ideas why these keep coming up with CKSUM errors or how I can identify the issue further?
All SMART checks are good.

Status output below:

Thanks for the help all.
----------
root@tower[~]# zpool status STORAGE

pool: STORAGE

state: ONLINE

status: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data

corruption. Applications may be affected.

action: Restore the file in question if possible. Otherwise restore the

entire pool from backup.

see: https://openzfs.github.io/openzfs-docs/msg/ZFS-8000-8A

scan: scrub repaired 0B in 04:08:37 with 1 errors on Mon Apr 24 15:13:46 2023

Checksum errors point to cabling or the controller (since it's all of them).

you can use zpool clear STORAGE to set the counters back to 0 and monitor for new errors after confirming that you don't have any issues with the connections/power supply.

I will try that. all the smartctl tests are fine.
Maybe there are some onboard controllers that TrueNAS does not like?

absolutely. and since you you haven't posted your hardware, which is a forum requirement, there is no way for us to tell.
