Hi Everyone,

Currently I have a ZFS volume setup to serve all my files to my windows computers through iSCSI. However, I would later like to include media players into the network as well so they can grab content directly from the server.

Is there a way to get the CIFS share to path to my /dev/zvol/Storage ....instead of /mnt/Storage

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do your media players use windows formatted iSCSI? If not, I don't see how you would get a windows formatted iSCSI volume shared through CIFS.

You have to pick one or the other. iSCSI or CIFS, you can't use both to access the same volume.
