My FreeNAS has a static ip in my home network (192.168.0.4).
I can connect with all my Windows 10 pc's to the FreeNAS unit when the NIC in the pc has a static ip address.
I cannot connect with all my Windows 10 pc's to the FreeNAS unit when the NIC in the pc has a dynamic ip by DHCP. DHCP pool in the router ranges from 192.168.0.200 - 192.168.0.250. I can ping FreeNAS from the pc's. Disabling the firewalls in the pc's does not help.
Windows give the error message as shown in the attached file.
I do not know with which FreeNAS update it started.

Any idea?

Please post the output of ipconfig /all from one of the PCs set to static, and again after switching to DHCP.

Interesting ...

Code:
 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
   DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.209
   DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 64539530
   DHCPv6 Client DUID. . . . . . . . : 00-01-00-01-1E-58-D8-F9-D8-CB-8A-BF-47-79
   DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.209

Who's 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.209? Are your router (gateway) and DHCP server two different machines?

Problem solved. Your question about 192.168.0.209 made me think. This is a media box from UPC/Ziggo I recently added and it caused the problem. DHCP on this box was also enabled.
It had nothing to do with FreeNAS.
Thank you all for your input!!

192.168.0.1 is my main modem/router.
192.168.0.9 is a router configured as access point. Indead DNS Servers 192.168.0.209

Delete ... back space ... good ... you solve it.
