I have received a mail with a checksum error:

Checking status of zfs pools:
NAME SIZE ALLOC FREE EXPANDSZ FRAG CAP DEDUP HEALTH ALTROOT
Backup 7.25T 3.86T 3.39T - 12% 53% 1.00x ONLINE /mnt
freenas-boot 28.2G 2.46G 25.8G - - 8% 1.00x ONLINE -

pool: Backup
state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An
attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.
action: Determine if the device needs to be replaced, and clear the errors
using 'zpool clear' or replace the device with 'zpool replace'.
see: http://illumos.org/msg/ZFS-8000-9P
scan: scrub repaired 0 in 0 days 09:19:24 with 0 errors on Tue May 29 21:32:45 2018
config:

NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
Backup ONLINE 0 0 0
mirror-0 ONLINE 0 0 0
gptid/d4125293-d994-11e7-8c98-4ccc6aff3289 ONLINE 0 0 1
gptid/c956737b-2da9-11e8-ade8-4ccc6aff3289 ONLINE 0 0 0

The strange thing is, that if I look in the UI there is no CKSUM error.

Any idea which one is right? UI or mail?

Did you reboot in between those two points in time? Those counters are not persistent.

Yes I did because of the U5 Update. Ok, then I will ignore the error and see if it shows up again.

Well, you shouldn't ignore that, you should make sure your disks aren't throwing SMART errors around.
