Just wondered if anyone else had experience this or if I was doing something stupid/obvious!
When I go into the CIFS settings and change the maximum SMB level to 3/3_00, whilst leaving the minimum at level 2_10 (Windows 7), it makes all CIFS shares unuseable and gives me an error message of:
"An extended error occurred"
Whenever I try to browse to the machine. Setting the maximum back to 2.24 fixes this. I've tried accessing it from both a Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 machine both supporting SMB 3. This happens on Windows 7 too.
Anyone experienced this before?
