I've recently built my very first TrueNAS system.
TrueNAS-12.0-U2.1

Intel i5 11400
16GB DDR4 3200MHz
5x4TB Seagate Exos HDD
1x500GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD

I am currently attempting to set up a plex / radarr / sonarr system with the native jail system. For downloading movies and series i want to use sonarr and radarr with transmission. So, I followed a lot of guides how to do it, but nothing works... When i download a movie through radarr, transmission says it does not have permission to put the file in the mounted folder. Plex can't find any of the media in the mounted folder either.

How i tried to do it: I first looked up all native uid's of these applications and added them as users with primary group media.
Plex: 972
Transmission: 921
Radarr: 352
Sonarr: 351
Then, I installed everything with the plugin system as i am not very good with Shell.

My datasets are set up as follows:

I wanted plex to be able to read everything under Media, so i added this to the ACL of both Media and all subsets (Movies, Music, etc):

However, plex cannot find any media in the subsets. I can pick the folders to map the libraries to, but no data shows up.

I wanted transmission to be able to modify everything in Movies and Series. I also wanted Radarr to be able to modify Movies and Sonarr to modify Series. Then I thought the pending downloads would also need a place to live, so i added the Temp dataset and allowed Transmission, Radarr and Sonarr to modify. So, i added this to the ACL's:

Then I mounted the folders to the jails.

I am out of attachments, so I will explain the rest:

Radarr and Sonarr are similair to Transmission. Sonarr does not have the map to Movies and Radarr does not have the map to Series.

Then I connected Radarr and Sonarr with other services (Rargb, Transmission, Plex).

When I try to download a movie with Radarr, transmission states the following:
Error: Permission denied (media/temp/MOVIE_FOLDER/MOVIE_FILE)

I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Does anyone have a clue? Anything would probably be helpfull, but i'm kind of a noob so maybe explain it as if talking to a child xD

UPDATE:

I have switched out Transmission for QBittorrent, since i prefer the interface. Still, no change in my situation. I decided to remove all users and simply use the UID's of Plex, Sonarr, Radarr and QBittorrent in the ACL's. This too does not change anything. I hope someone can help me with this...

While looking at your images I see your Permissions type for all are setup some as read, modify instead of Full Control. try it out
