I'm trying to set up some client user account for ftp access to server.

SFTP works, but FTP does not. E.g., I created user "client1", with home folder "/mnt/raid-5x3/alpha/ftp/client1"

When client1 tries to log in, server returns "530 login incorrect" and log shows

It looks like the permissions are wrong on the user's home directory.

I have same problem on FreeNas 9.2.1.5. and the permissions on home directory are ok!

Mine also wont start on 9.2.1.5 but does start if i manually bring it up with "onestart" .

Inconvenient, but workable as it doesnt restart often.

waiting for 9.2.1.6 to address some of the issues with .5
