Hi,

I'm a FreeNAS Newbie. I'm looking for a comprehensive NAS to serve our extended family networks. We have two physically separate sub-nets (192.168.0.x and 192.168.1.x). Can I install two network cards and set up FreeNAS to share some volumes on both sub-nets, e.g. Video and Audio files, while other volumes are only available to one or other sub-net, e.g. personal data ?

Thanks

It will share all shares on both networks if you're using CIFS/AFP. If NFS you can limit access to specific networks or hosts per share, same with iSCSI.
