Can anyone suggest a good VPN Guide for scale

Hi there can anyone suggest a good VPN guide that will work with Scale?

i've tried a few and they work to a point or dont work.

The main issue i'm having is i can connect i can ping the VPN server and the Host but cant get past that. the problem is i'm seeing guides for core but none for scale. as alot of core doesnt fit to scale for example tuneables, etc.

but can get ping past the host (truenas) and other computers on the network cant ping it.

i got a openvpn working in a VM but if i can save on overhead why not use the builtin one in truenas.
