Hi All,
I have recently finished building an ESXi server running FreeNAS 8.3.x ontop with RDM for disk management. Write/read speeds are around 40-50Mbps, however, there hasn't been any fine tuning or testing (yet) for throughput.
What I want to know is, has anyone successfully setup external monitoring (ie: another host running Cacti) of the FreeNAS SNMP information? I've managed to get local storage (/), load average, memory and the ZFS being monitored, but I'd need to mess around with the data sources (?) to put the right figures in (min, max etc) so it looks 'right'.
If anyone can point me in the right direction of a template or more information on this, it would be appreciated.
Cheers
