SOLVED Bombarded with "rescan already queued" after upgrading to 11-STABLE U2

Worked fine before this, now it just bombs with this message on boot and never boot into the UI or prompt.

Never had an issue like this before so don't know what to do.

9.x and 11-STABLE worked fine, it was when applying the U2 update that this occured.

It's possible that the boot device died. Try installing a fresh U2 on a new stick to see if that boots. If it does, restore your config.

I cannot boot the installation either (From a fresh stick).

Ok, so it seems like it was a bad SATA cable - changing the "loose" one fixed the boot issue.
