I was one of the first (if not the first) person to build a system on the Xeon E3-1230 v5 chips, got FreeNAS running the way I wanted it to, and have been chugging along happily ever since. Now, I have a few questions for you guys since I've been away for so long:
1. What issues will I run into if I update to the latest version of FreeNAS? I'm really looking to avoid having to re-setup my entire system. It's working great now.
2. Is there any reason to get the new version of FreeNAS? What am I missing out on?
Below is the system I've been running:
Build FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201512121950
Platform Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 v5 @ 3.40GHz
Memory 32688MB
System Time Wed Aug 09 01:30:33 EDT 2017
Uptime 1:30AM up 20 days, 23:42, 0 users
