Hi

I have 2 FreeNas servers one is a supermicro Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5680 @ 3.33GHz (12 cores) with 12 gig of ram with 6 160 gig drives. Used capacity is 462 and free is 151 for over 600 gig. The other is a supermicro Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3440 @ 2.53GHz (8 cores) with 24 gig ram and 4 300 gig drives. Free capacity is 517 gig with 498 mib used. At 4X300 that should be 1.2 terabytes. Why is it only showing 516 gig free instead of 1.2 terabytes

What ZFS RAID level did you use? It seems like you used RAID Z3. You can use the ZFS Capacity Calculator here.

I suspect that you will need to delete the pool and recreate it. I've never done it myself but I suspect ZFS RAID pools would be just like a hardware RAID setup (e.g., PERC, HP SmartArray, etc.) and you destroy the original pool to create a new one...
