Any feedback on using Sandisk Ultra USB3 stick as boot drive?

Hello. I wanna use this stick as my boot drive and while the specs seems good. Actual experiences can be different so I'm hoping members can share their experiences in regards to this drive.

Also I want to know experiences installing ports (i.e. compiling stuff) on this stick.

Read our manual... you don't install anything on the USB stick...

I've got a 16gb one of these bad boys plugged into the motherboard usb socket of my x10al7-f. And boy does it boot fast! That's the only benefit to it though. Once running it makes no difference.
