I have FreeNAS setup on a server, attached to several disk arrays. Initially I just had 1 SCSI card and 2 physical disc arrays, I recently added a second SCSI card and 2 more physical disk arrays.

Can I add additional arrays to the existing ZFS Pool via the GUI while the ZFS pool is in use by iSCSI Clients (VMWare ESX Hosts)? or do I need to shut down everything using the pool to add more arrays to it? I'm adding additional mirrored arrays, instead of individual drives others have asked about.

Yes, you can add additional arrays while the pool is in use.
