Access is denied with CIFS

Hi all,

I am new to FreeNAS. Also, I have no background in Uinx...
I have build FreeNAS-9.2.1.5-RELEASE-x64 (80c1d35). Everything is working as it should be. I enabled CIFS in services, and copy my files through FTP. I created a Windows share. When I browse my network, I can see my FreeNAS pc.

The problem is:
When I try to play a movie or open a file, I received "Access is denied".

How to solve this, Please.

Your permissions are probably improper.

Btw,

I found https://bugs.freenas.org/projects/f...s/usr/local/libexec/nas/generate_smb4_conf.py

But, I don't know how to use it. :(

You're going to need to read our manual and do some googling to understand how permissions work so you can apply them for yourself.

I read the manual, and I did google, until I found the solution I've post.
I will google again to find a solution to apply that fix. But, my question is: Will applying that file, solve my problem?.
