Access Hidden CIFS Share

hi all,

is there any way I can access a hidden CIFS share?

I unticked "browsable to network clients", and now I cannot see the share when I connect to it.
Additionally, I cannot find the share on the finder, I must manually connect to it

Wondering if there's a way to solve both issues. I am looking to share with OS X and Windows machines

Type \\<server>\share in Windows explorer. I believe the syntax is smb://<server>/<share> for finder.

You can map shares the way you normally would.

Instead of making shares hidden, you can always enable 'access based enumeration'.
