Having trouble accessing this folder. Derek was using a company laptop logged in as Owner, but we're not sure what account he was using to access these files. He was able to edit and store all his files in the folder Derek. We tried to mess with permissions in Win7 so that all group members could access his folder, but now he can't access these files because he now doesn't have the permissions to.

Can you, Ken account, take ownership of the Derek folder? You will likely need to play with ACLs. To start with though what's the output of:
Code:
ls -alh /mnt/eaglesnest/autoharvestsales
Trim the output to include only the Derek folder & e.g. the Eric folder if that's setup the same way. In other words a folder that is working properly and the one that's giving you trouble.
