Hello all
I have a problem with my shares for windows. I tried to find something here, but it was not really helping or satisfied.
I want to hide some shared Windows folders from users who haven´t permission to this.
I used the GUI and the Windows Explorer to set the permissions, but it´s not working correctly.
For example
I created and user: Daniel what is in the Group admin
I created and user Production what is in the Group Company.
I have two pools on two Hard drives.
1.) Daniel
2.) Company
I make a shared in the Pool of Daniel what is called Backups. I set the permissions, that only Daniel and the group admin have permissions, all the other stuff were deleted in the explorer, so only two visible permissions.
When I use Run + \\IP from freenas and login as Production user from another PC -> I can see the share Daniel.
If I tried to connect with filezilla, everything is like it should. -> Production can´t see my Daniel Share. Logged in as admin, I can see everything.
I think I did something wrong, but not what exactly
Someone has an idea?
What i saw under Right-Click shared folder -> Security (actual admin group and Daniel, allowed to all) -> Advanced -> Sharing -> everyone is inside, but I can´t change here anything.
