Hello, I started getting this error after the system crashed while creating a jail, I have seen some solutions that imply deleting the jails dataset and creating a new one, does this means I will have to rebuild all my jails, that seems like a really lot of work. Is there any other solution that would not involve endless hours of re configuring all again?

I tried different combinations of names, none works. Here is some more info: (and before any one askes, no I don't have all this jails running, I save them but most of them are stopped)

Code:
root@freenas:~ # warden template list

So I guess Im not understanding you here, I can see you are stating that you have an error message but how about providing the commands you are going (exactly) which result in the error message. Also, what version of FreeNAS are you using? I'm on travel right now but you do have quite a few templates on your system, just curious why. Maybe you could clean up those old copies and just have the system download the most current copy? Just thinking is all.

EDIT: Removing a template is not removing a jail, just making this clear.

@joeschmuck I solved the problem, but I don't know if the correct way, I created a template in the GUI and forced it on the Jail Creation... now works. Thank You

If it works and you didn't have to delete all your jails, that is good and glad to hear you got past it.
