Hello all!
I have 5 hdd x 3TB, WD Red.
After i installed 9.2.1.5, i created a zfs volume that and after that:
- i add the volume as a windows share in cifs;
- i created datasets in that volume
- i added groups and users
- i changed permissions in datasets acordint to new users and groups created by me.
Problem 1: newly created users can not login
Solution: I added in Sevices / FTP Settings, Auxiliary placement parameters:
"DefaultChdir / mnt / myvolume" where myvolume is place where i wont to be home directory for users. That solve the problem 1
But!
Problem2:
All users can see and navigate trough system files.
I look on the internet and i understand that I should not add Windows CIFS share to entire volume but the datasets only. So I canceled that windows cifs share for volume and created a Windows CIFS share for each dataset.
But the problem has not disappeared.
I thought it was because of the order I added myself in FTP Settings (DefaultChdir / mnt / myvolume) but it is not, even if i change myvolume with any dataset, the problem remains! Users still can view and navigate trough system files and folders.
