8.2 to 9.2, No Drives Detected

I upgraded from 8.2 to 9.2 today. The upgrade went smoothly, but I had a yellow alert icon in the GUI, saying not able to detect pool or something along those lines. I have a backup so I went ahead and did a fresh install from scratch and planned to recreate my zpool. However apparently with 9.2, FREENAS is unable to detect my drives and/or controller. I am using a Highpoint 4 port PCIe controller, which never had issues in 8.2.

I guess what I need to do first is see if FREENAS sees the controller, but I am not sure which commands to enter into the shell. What is the first steps I should do to troubleshoot? I was looking for the old diagnostic area but couldn't find that either. Any help is appreciated.

Post the output of "dmesg" and "zpool import" and "camcontrol devlist". Normally dmesg should show your Highpoint controller at some point.

To be honest, when I see Highpoint's name on these forums I cringe. They've been problem children since day one... this coming from the guy that's the unofficial Highpoint wizard in this forum. I won't be the least bit surprised if there aren't Highpoint drivers for FreeBSD 9.x for your card.

If you are only interested in getting your server back up and running you should start looking for IBM M1015s on ebay. They're about $125 shipped.

Here, well I didn't have much choice controller wise. I have it on a via nano board, and I needed 4 ports. I can't remember why but it was the only option. Worked quite well with 8.2(as far as problem free). dmesg is exactly what I was trying to remember but I was hitting my head and couldn't remember, and couldn't properly use google to find it. Anyways, I don't see it personally in the list. I may have to jump back to 8.2. Another oddity but my system info is only showing 2.9GB of ram. I could have sworn I had 8 in this machine.....will have visually confirm that. Regardless here is the output. Thanks again for the help.
