Hi,

I'am still buring in my new Freenas build and yesterday got the following E-Mail from it:

Code:
Checking status of 3ware RAID controllers:
Alarms (most recent first):
+++ /var/log/3ware_raid_alarms.today    2015-07-14 03:01:00.830043892 +0200
@@ -1,2 +1 @@

-- End of daily output --

I'm wondering what that messages tries to tell me. I checked the logs at /var/log/3ware_raid_alarms.today and /var/log/3ware_raid_alarms.yesterday and they are both empty. Is there a problem and if so what is it?

In this post a similar question was asked. It this also a "positive feedback"?

My system:
Mainboard: X10SL7-F
CPU: E3-1230 v3
Power Supply: Seasonic G-450
Memory: 32 GB Samsung ECC
HDD: For burnin 4x Samsung UI204 2TB drives and 1x 8TB Seagate Archive drive

It's just an indication that that check was run. If there aren't any actual errors listed or any errors in those logs, you're fine.

old thread, but curious why this alarm was not in 9.3, but seems to be reintroduced in 9.10??

Might be a bug in the transition from 9.x to 10.x base OS. If you think it is, create a bug report at bugs.freenas.org and post the issue number here.
