Rosewill RNG-407-Dual

I bought from newegg. Works fin if i install to my sbs 2011 same ports and wire to gigabit. Insert card to freenas and switch reports 100mb using auto. Manually setting to gigabit loses connection. Possible to update drivers for Realtek nics on freenas?

I assume re0 is the NIC in question as it has an IP address? It is set to 1000baseT <full-duplex> and is showing as active. Are you sure it is plugged into the switch and there isn't anything limiting the config on the switch? If it isn't re0, which one is it?

My re0 is the onboard nic. works fine. My new addin card is re1 and re2. They are 100mb. Same card plugged into different windows server using same wires and switchports works at 1000mb

Just to be clear, how did you manually configure the gigabit setting? Please post the exact command or where you went in the GUI.

I configured from my switch. I just thought the auto detection was broken.

Any other suggestions to try? Or should I get an intel dual port nic card?

Thanks for the suggestions. I somehow got it to detect as 1000mb. I disabled other peripherals trying to troubleshoot an interrupt storm.
