When upgrading my FreeNAS-9.2.1.2-RELEASE-x64 (002022c) zfs pool from what I thought was version 28 to version 5000, the zpool version shows a version number of "-" and a source of "default"
I was following the directions here:
http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Upgrading_FreeNAS®
I entered the "zpool status", "zpool get version", "zpool status -x" commands. The "zpool status -x" command stated the pool was healthy, so I went ahead and entered the "zpool upgrade" command and the pool was upgraded (it seemed quick and complete).
The "zpool get version" command on the pre-upgrade pool showed a version of "-" and source of "default". The same thing is being displayed for the current pool.
The following are the results of the status, get version and status -x commands on the current pool:
I get the same results listing the version property value:
How can I get the version to reflect the current version number (hopefully 5000) and the "local" source when entering the "zpool get version" command? Is this a critical problem that will effect me down the road?
Thanks for helping with a noobie question!
