Hi Guys,

Is there anyway to see the TBW (Total Bytes Written) of a pool or disk?

I'm thinking of getting a SSD for ZIL and L2ARC and am wondering how my data usage will hit the TBW of the drives. I want to get a gauge of expected life, so any idea's on how I can project this?

Thanks,

Are you sure that you need a ZIL and L2ARC? What are your server's hardware specs?

I'm in the process of investigating the benefit for my home solution. Its odd, for enterprise, I don't normally think about TBW on ZIL or L2ARC... but am trying to find a means to project this on the cheap, hence my question.

All SSDs I've seen report total host writes via SMART.
