Ok, here's the situation:

I'm using Freenas 8.3.0 x64

First, zfs1 pool is slowly "eating" free space, still GUI shows that only about 470Mb is in use, how come? I've tried to locate what's using that free space from /mnt/zfs1 but theres only about 470Mb of stuff, mainly upgrade files. still that GUI shows about 100GB of data used.

I'm using iSCSI and dataset volumes freenas01data0 - freenas01data3. I'm currently transfering about 500G of virtual machine hard disks (vmware .vmdk) to those datasets. I know i have to have free space at zfs pool "root", but i don't understand why is it consuming free space at that rate?

Any advice?
