I am just wondering what best setting for Media eg what Compression level and atime should i choose? Should i change it or just make it Inherit??
Under media i will have
Home Movies
Movies
Music
Music Clip
Music Videos
Pictures
TV Shows

That's totally your choice depending on the performance you want, the performance you get and the settings you use.

Yes, go to the CLI and move or copy files using CLI commands.
