Your view on the SuperMicro 6028R-E1CR16T ?

Folks,

I ran across an offer for a SuperMicro 6028R-E1CR16T. It is essentially a X10DRH-CT motherboard plus the
SC829HTS-R1K02LPBP chassis.

The motherboard has a LSI 3108 SAS controller which caught my eye.

So the big question is: should I take a closer look at that box ? Has anyone successfully flashed such an integrated HBA into IT-mode ?

Any hints welcome.

Hello Chris,

yep, saw that one. I was willing to test the mrsas out, I was just wondering if I can get the correct FW onto the board at all.
