Woke up to find my FreeNAS hardware turned off, nothing else in the computer room was. System was purchased from IX Systems

Plugged a monitor in, when it didn't boot. nothing. looking at the front panel and only one blinking light. the pic doesn't show it very well, but it's the 3rd light down.

Pulled plug, and tried to restart after that. same issue.

No idea whats' wrong.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Doesn't iXSystems provide support for that thing? I would call them. But from here it looks like a bad power supply maybe

This sounds like a blown power supply.

Would like to thank IX Systems for their quick replacement of my NAS. received it on Thursday and swapped everything to the new box this past weekend.

Up and running with minimum hassle.

Also, I would like to thank ever use on this site. Since I bought the NAS, I've been reading the trails and tribulations of everyone, which helped get my replacement up and running with minimal headache

Early Minis used FSP PSUs, it seems.

I use FSP Aurum exclusively for my FreeNAS builds. It has a very good price-per-quality ratio. Haven't had one go south on me yet, and they seem capable of far more than their specification would indicate.

just received word from IX-Systems, the video card was bad. simpler to send a new chassis instead trouble shooting.

everything is back up and running
