Hey all freenas lovers and smart people.

since i could not easely reconfigure my cifs share (gateway shizel since on 2 subnets) i planned on mapping my network drives via FTP. Sadly windows is being stupid again and will only let me see stuff in my home directory. now you may say this is normal. But... if i open the same conection trough filezilla i can go all the way up to root level since i am part of the Wheel group (i know unsecure n stuff.. dont do as i do :P) now i would realy like to know how to manipulate windows in letting me map a network drive outside the home directory of my user.(the location i am after is in my storagepool wich is 2 directories lower than the homedirectory map) i have tryed making the storagepool the home directory but freenas will just spit out a error that the directory doesnt exist since it will try to enter a map with the same name as my user after the storagepool.

soo, since this apparantly isnt a very common question its hard to find people on the interwebz that have already done it.

Hope you can help.

Kind regards,
Tim Slaa
