Hi, in a FreeNAS 11.2 I created two VMs, one Ubuntu Server 16.04 64bit and a Windows Server 2008 R2. Since a couple of days I noticed the Windows VM suddenly stops.

After some investigation I found a printer has the same IP as the FreeNas server (I asked the sysadmin to change the printer's). Now, both virtual machines has VirtIO NICs, but only the Windows stops, does anyone know if this is related to the conflicting IP?.

The conflicting IP certainly won't help. What's in /var/log/messages around the time the VM stops?

Hi, it turns out the problem wasn't related to the conflicting IP, but an expired license of the Windows VM.
