why my freenas take two IP address ?

Hi,

I've associated the ethernet card MAC address to the IP 192.168.0.3.
When i start my freenas, the screen displays 192.168.0.3 (i'm ok) and 192.168.0.8, but i don't understand why this address is present.
On my NAS i've installed the plugin MinDLNA which have 192.168.0.11 in parameter.

So what is the address 192.168.0.8 ?

Dunno, maybe you configured it to work with dhcp and static ip? Or have an alias?

i've configured my network box with DHCP and associated MAC address with IP address 192.168.0.3 (to have always the same address for each equipment).
all is working well, but i just don't understand why there is the second address 192.168.0.8.
i've configured nothing on FreeNAS application ,just installed it and let it started.
Id on't know what is an alias ?
