As part of planning for a move to Corral, I had been picking up some new hardware, including a 128Gb SSD that I was planning to use for installing Docker Host and images. I expected to use this system as an opportunity to learn about Docker.

Docker support is apparently on the roadmap for 9.10.3: As a Virtual Machine-driven service. I'm not certain what this means, so here's my question... Does it make sense to use the SSD for Jails right now and then install the Docker images on it when support for Docker is ready? Anything else that would benefit from the SSD? (Don't tell me to use it as a boot device.)

It runs in a VM, just like on Corral.
That is great. Thanks. For something like Plex that can be installed in a jail or as a Docker image - would one implementation be more efficient than the other?

Jail, obviously. VMs add significant overhead.
