WebGUI gone...

Hi,

I am having some trouble with my FreeNAS 8 server. The WebGUI seems gone. When I go to the WebGUI (192.168.***.***) the WebGUI won't load. No error message is shown. Chrome tells me: "Waiting for 192.168.***.***...", it keeps waiting for hours. Firefox: exacly the same. Internet Explorer 10 tells me nothing, this little circle just keeps turning. My samba shares are available without any problem. Logging in with PuTTY is not possible, I am not sure wheter SSH was switched on, but when I connect I get the black window with a green cursor but nothing happens, I can't type, can't give the password, so I think the problem here is related to the WebGUI problem.
Can anyone point me in a direction on how to fix this?

I doubt the webgui and ssh problems are related.

do you have physical access? If so, plug in a keyboard + monitor and log into the consol. from ther you might want to run service nginx restart, that may get your webgui working again.

Yep, it fixed my problem. I rebooted and the problem stayd away, so thanks a lot.
