Hey all,

Ive searched around a bit and found some similar posts but nothing quite like this so I thought I would run it by you. Here is how it breaks down. Im running Linux Mint 17.3, Chrome Version 51.0.2704.63 (64-bit). The GUI loads fine and everything but when I select Storage (as an example), I get no frame displaying my Volumes like normal. However, Firefox works fine and as expected. I have recently updated both Freenas and Chrome, so I am unsure where the issue lies, and I do not frequently use the GUI for things. Take a look at the attached below..

Its strange, some do work, but others no. I suppose its a similar issue to where the left menu doesnt show up. I did try incognito, cleared cache, and as stated works 100% in Firefox. Im preferring Chrome these days, but ultimately its not a huge deal for me, just thought Id ask around and see if its just me or have others experienced this or if the updates I did earlier corrupted something.. As always, thank you FreeNAS community for your time and a glorious product.

Have you tried rebooting your FreeNAS server? Honestly, I'm thinking this is more a Chrome problem than a FreeNAS problem. I'd try reinstalling Chrome.

I have not done either, I will try to reboot, then if that doesn't work, ill try to re-install Chrome.

Edit:

As an afterthought I went to my laptop which has not been updated lately and is virtually identical software wise to my desktop, and Chrome is working, so now I will do the same updates on it and see what happens..

Ahh, good to know ricky_198, thank you. I will forgo the usage of Chrome for GUI stuff, no biggie, I so rarely have to use it anyways, it was just more of a curiosity thing. Again, thanks again everybody.. Be well.

John Digital, I just ran into this identical problem with Chrome (Version 51.0.2704.63 m). Running 9.10-STABLE (0427). I tried rebooting and even reloading my configuration. It didn't help. Firefox seems to work just fine.

Yeah I can indeed confirm its an issue with the newest Chrome. Everything works fine on my other machines and browsers including older versions of Chrome. Its not a deal breaker, just have to use an alternative browser for awhile or rollback a version of Chrome. Im sure it will eventually sort itself out. Im sure this thread will get hit a lot in the next few days as people upgrade their Chrome.

I'm having the same issue..new Chrome release on Arch linux. I'll just use Firefox for the time being.

Love going to the forum and seeing the bug at the top of the forum. Means I'm not crazy!
