I believe I have the freenas setup correctly. There are 2 UFS drives mounted with mkv videos.
My windows PC can see the freenas and all the files on it.
My WDTV live media player can see the freenas but errors out saying there's no files available on the NAS.
With the little knowledge I have with freenas I have tried to fix it and have come up empty every time.
Seems like I'm almost there just over looking some small detail. I renamed the freenas and I also gave it the same domain name as my PCs: WORKGROUP.
Please help, I'm on the verge of giving up and trying another means of sharing my media.

Hi,

I had a similar problem when moving from 8.0.2 to 8.0.3 & 8.0.3 P1. I managed to solve it by adding "domain master = yes" (without the quotes) to the Auxiliary parameters section in the CIFS settings. I hope this helps.

Figured it out not a half hour ago, just had to change the authentication from local to anonymous. Thanks for the reply.
