Machine still seems to be running fine, but definitely don't like this error. A scrub 4 days ago was fine.

Anyone else experience this in a new WD RED drive?

Also, should I pull the drive, RMA it, and use a Toshiba 3TB I have for now?

thanks for any info!

You should be able to RMA since a smart test is failing. That's what I would do :)

Do you have to send the bad Red drive back to WDC for an RMA? Are there any concerns with sending it back to them - can they read the data from 1 drive from a RaidZ array?

I did an advanced RMA, so I should have it in a few days. I plan to zero it out before I return it (if the drive will let me!)
