Hey guys,
Hoping I can get some advice.
So I'm setting up my FreeNAS server from scratch again with 9.3.1 after a few of my drives died tragically and this time I want to tunnel all my data through a VPN (I use PIA).
I was originally planning to install transmission in a jail alongside openvpn and have it tunnel through, but now I'm considering having all my jails (mostly plugins) tunnel through the VPN jail but had a few questions:
* I use the port forwarding and DDNS service of my router to access my jail's web interfaces remotely. Would these continue to work with the VPN in place?
* How do I get my other jails to work through my OpenVPN jail?
* I was going to set up OpenVPN in its own jail following this guide: https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...username-and-password-auth.23659/#post-144198
But is there a better guide anyone would recommend? I don't see anything wrong with that guide so I'll probably soldier forth but just wanted to check if anyone had any recommendations.
Cheers and thanks for the advice!
