VirtualBox JAIL no longer starting VMs since update

I do not use my virtualbox running in a jail very often. I have just wasted an hour with this wondering why it will not start. It appears that this is a 'will not fix' bug. Do I read that correctly? Can anyone here give step by step instructions for getting this working again?

As far as I know, the last version VirtualBox worked on was FreeNAS-9.10.1-U4
Bhyve is working and there are instructions for getting it working and a hack for getting a console, however I'm not willing to hack and slash my system when if I wait for the full implementation of bhyve there will be a console that is supported. So for now 9.10.1-U4 is what I'm sticking with.
When BHyve is working and fully implemented I'll migrate accordingly.

oh, and to answer your question more directly, you did read that correctly. VirtualBox is a will not fix due to security issues not to mention security and performance improvements that will come with implementing bhyve
You could roll your system back to 9.10.1-U4 if you want to run VirtualBox and join my little club, waiting for full support of bhyve.
