I'm just curious, is there anything here who is or has tried running freenas on a via nano m-itx board?
The reason I ask is that I stretched my budget on a pair of servers to run ESXi, but I have no redundancy for the virtual machine stores. I do however have a little via nano board here that runs at 1.5ghz and has enough ports for an ide CF card reader and a pair of 1tb drives. I thought of setting it up iSCSI target or NFS target to back up the virtual machines in case of failure since I have the parts floating around to do it
I'm just not sure if the performance would be enough so I thought I would ask
