Hey Guys,
These continuous questions, you have to be getting sick of it right?
anyways.. I'm looking into the users and groups section of FreeNAS 9.1, and, I have read the FreeNAS wiki about this, and I don't quite understand..
Here's what I am trying to achieve...
- My main user, "Brent" with a password with access to all directories held
- Another user, "UserA" (example..) without a password with access to, "Movies" directory held with /mnt/disk/Movies
What I don't understand is to how I am to go about doing that...as far as I see it would be something like this..
Account > Users > New User
With the following
Username: "UserA"
Create a new primary group for the user: Checked
HomeDirectory: /mnt/disk/Movies (is this what I would put?)
Disable Password Login: Checked (I think?)
Auxillery Groups: (still unsure as to what this is meant to do?)
Then I imagine I'd have to do something with the Share...
So question is
How do I setup a Main account with access to everything and than possibly multiple accounts with access to say just, "Movies"?
